Introvert Life: Keeping up with life

Wow I’m exhausted. As an introvert who’s working on building my business, trying to stay sane in an open-office work setting, in- office 9-5, 4-5 days of the week (forever grateful for that 1 WFH day), while also trying to maintain a minimal social life, date and build my business.. this girl is tired!

Some tips that I find help me get through it:

  • Plan certain tasks around my cycle
  • Only say yes to activities that are aligned with my values and that I enjoy
  • Use a calendar
  • time block everything!
  • write it all down to give you a visual of what is up
  • prioritize sleep & self care
  • less social media – this drains me, we typically go to do this to zone out so instead I will try to zone out by reading a quick article on something that interests me that’s going on in the world, or taking those few minutes to emotionally regulate myself (breathing, getting off your phone, etc).
  • self compassion – I remind myself this is a LOT so i try to go easy on myself and listen to my body
  • habit stack to get more things done – aka. read an article or create content while walking on the treadmill
